Description

This is very common plant in the landscaping world, and for good reason; it performs well in punishing environments, dry and poor soils, the scorched earth of parking lots, and even along the ocean. Shrubby cinquefoil is available in a  “variety of varieties” sporting different colored flowers. Now to the good stuff, did you know that this awesome shrub is actually native to Maine? It is! In the wild, it is strongly associated with limey, high alkalinity soils, typically found in the more northerly parts of the state. The fact that it grows in the acidic soils found in most of Maine earns it another star. The plants I offer are rare, rare in the fact that they are not varsities; nope, these are just like the ones you would find growing in the wild.

Robust shrubs in 2 gallon pots, 18″ tall on average.

2 available as of 6-14-25.
